Morgan Cox

Morgan Cox serves as the Event and Communications Specialist for the Maryland Business Roundtable for Education (MBRT). She was instrumental in defining the responsibilities of the role. Relying on experiences at other non-profits, Morgan has developed this role to support the organization’s vision by expanding on its communication efforts.

In her role, Morgan is responsible for content creation for a multitude of media sources, included but not limited to MBRT’s social media accounts and online communications. She writes and publishes stories, interviews, and event recaps for a broad audience of stakeholders. Her work also includes the planning and production of events hosted by MBRT and its Next Generation Scholars program. She is responsible for managing the development of content for the Way to Be magazine, a yearly publication distributed to students in all 24 districts.

Morgan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with specialization in Public Relations and holds a minor in Journalism from Randolph-Macon College.
