About Me:
Carrie Pannone Allegany County Carrie Pannone is the Next Generation Scholar program coordinator for Washington Middle School and Fort Hill High School in Allegany County.
Prior to joining MBRT, Pannone was employed with Allegany County Public Schools as a substitute teacher and most recently worked for the Allegany County Chamber of Commerce. She earned an associate’s degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education from the Allegany College of Maryland.
Pannone brings a wealth of experience as a parent of two children who graduated from Washington Middle and Fort Hill High. She is also a trained member of the MBRT Maryland Scholars Speakers Bureau, which allows her to visit classrooms to bring students the message that achievement in school will pay off in college, the workplace and in life. Pannone is active in her church, volunteers throughout the community and serves as a community ambassador for K-LOVE Radio.
A first-generation college graduate from a single-income family, Pannone’s experience mirrors many of the Next Generation Scholars who are navigating the college process. She believes her experience and expertise can help guide students toward a successful future beyond high school graduation.
Pannone resides in Cumberland, Maryland, with her husband Michael.
