Abigail Wittman serves as the Caroline County NGS Program Specialist for the Maryland Business Roundtable for Education (MBRT). As the newest member of the Next Generation Scholars (NGS) team, Abigail adds fresh perspective to the program and its development.
Abigail is a personable and dedicated professional with a solid background in education and a proven track record of managing multiple projects effectively. Highly organized with exceptional research and analytical skills, she excels in both verbal and written communication. Her technological proficiency spans various platforms, including Google and Microsoft suites, PowerSchool, Schoology, and Maryland Online IEP, enabling her to adapt and thrive in diverse working environments.
As a Special Education Teacher at Caroline County Public Schools, Abigail planned and delivered inclusive classroom instruction to students from various racial and socioeconomic backgrounds. She developed and managed Individual Education Plans (IEPs) with a 100% compliance rate on administrative paperwork during districtwide audits. Her role also involved facilitating meetings, accurately communicating with stakeholders, and analyzing assessment data to support student success.
In addition, Abigail’s experience as a Teller at Queenstown Bank of Maryland honed her customer service skills, where she assisted customers with financial transactions and resolved account-related issues efficiently. She collaborated effectively with colleagues across branches and departments, showcasing her ability to work well in team settings and handle responsibilities with a high level of professionalism.
