Taylor Hudson

Taylor Hudson serves as the College Pathways Senior Manager with Next Generation Scholars Responsibilities, Kent, for the Maryland Business Roundtable for Education (MBRT). Taylor has built a career around her passion: education. Her core background is as a Certified Secondary Teacher – English, working on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. During her time as a teacher, she was a Teacher of Promise Nominee from the Maryland State Department of Education and the winner of the Teacher of Promise for Kent County Public Schools.

In addition to working in public schools, she also worked in the private business sector as an Organizational Development Specialist, working with Learning & Development for a diverse workforce and supporting training globally. She also has experience in the informal education and non-profit world, as an Assistant Education Curator and Grant Writer for Maryland non-profits. This varied background in and deep passion for education led her to MBRT, where she can look at the students she serves and her teammates through a dynamic lens, helping maximize their full potential.
