About Me:
We’re thrilled to welcome Voncia Molock, the newest addition to the Maryland Business Roundtable for Education’s Next Generation Program Specialist team at Cambridge-South Dorchester High School. With her roots in Dorchester County and a passion for empowering students, Voncia brings a unique perspective and wealth of experience to her role.
Having graduated from North Dorchester High School, Voncia’s own high school journey wasn’t without its challenges. Yet, it was her collegiate experience at Morgan State University where she found her stride, majoring in Multi-Platform Production. Despite facing hurdles in the financial aid process, she persevered, graduating in 2021 and eventually finding her way into education through a serendipitous encounter at Dorchester Career & Technology Center.
Voncia’s journey from aspiring filmmaker to dedicated educator exemplifies her commitment to supporting students in navigating the often-daunting path to higher education. Her passion for art, film, and helping students shines through as she eagerly anticipates guiding them through the college application process and scholarship opportunities.
“I truly get excited when a student asks me for help,” says Voncia. “Education has changed me, and I want to pay it forward by empowering students to achieve their dreams.”
In her new role, Voncia aims to expand opportunities for Dorchester County students, ensuring they have the support and resources needed to succeed beyond high school. With her enthusiasm, experience and dedication, we’re confident that Voncia will make a lasting impact on the lives of students in her community. Join us in welcoming Voncia Molock to the team as we work together to shape the next generation of leaders.
