Education & Training
Leonard Webb serves as the Next Generation Scholar Program Manager for Allegany County as a part of the Maryland Business Roundtable for Education (MBRT).
 
In his role, Leonard is responsible for supporting students by helping: to determine career interests; creating awareness of how high school preparation, college coursework completion and career goals connect; offering exposure to career pathways through workforce volunteer learning engagements; and preparing students for college and career through interviewing and job shadowing opportunities.
 
Leonard holds a Certification in the DISC Assessment.  Previously, he was a Counselor and Treatment Specialist for the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Leonard owns a small business which provides professional development to educators across the country to improve student engagements as well as school culture.  He served on the Juvenile Services Education Program Board for the State of Maryland.  
 
Leonard holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Sociology, as well as a minor in African American History from the University of South Florida. He resides in Mount Savage with his spouse.
