Each summer, MBRT hosts College Bootcamp, an intensive, on-campus experience designed to support rising high school seniors as they prepare for their next big step. This isn’t your average workshop. In just ten action-packed hours, students receive real-time guidance on every aspect of the college application process—directly from the experts.
Why Attend College Bootcamp?
Navigating college applications can be overwhelming—but it doesn’t have to be. College Bootcamp breaks it down step by step:
- Research and begin your college list
- Start (or even complete) the Common Application
- Create your MDCAPS account to access Maryland state aid
- Register for your FSA ID to apply for federal financial aid
- Participate in an Essay Workshop and dedicated writing time
- Build your resume and learn how to present yourself
- Learn how to request teacher recommendations effectively
- Hear from recent grads through an Alumni Panel
- Set clear, achievable goals and deadlines for the next 3–6 months
Whether you’re just beginning or putting the finishing touches on your application materials, Bootcamp ensures you’re moving forward with confidence.
