Maryland Business Roundtable for Education (MBRT) is excited to announce the return of our annual “NextGen NextLevel” Student Leadership Conference – a high energy, future focused experience designed to help students step confidently into their next chapter following high school.
This year’s signature event will take place on June 24, 2026, on the campus of University of Maryland College Park, from 11:00am to 6:00pm.
NextGen NextLevel is designed to inspire, challenge and empower aspiring leaders as they prepare for college, career and life beyond high school. The MBRT team has designed a dynamic lineup of interactive workshops and hands-on sessions with the students’ goals and decisions at the center. This year, along with class of 2026 recent graduates, the conference welcomes MBRT rising high school seniors and MBRT alumni to attend.
During the conference, students can expect to expand their networking skills, build a personalized checklist to support college enrollment, career advancement and post-secondary planning, and learn practical life and transition “hacks” to navigate young adulthood. In addition, the popular alumni panel will help to close out the day, giving students the opportunity to ask any outstanding questions before the event ends. There will be giveaways throughout the day and exciting opportunities to connect with like-minded peers.
One student reflected following NextGen NextLevel in 2025, “I loved the experience and [hearing] more stories from other college students and having the opportunity to connect with people who’ve established their careers or are still finding their path.”
NextGen NextLevel registration opens April 24. To register, contact your local MBRT Program team member. Spots are limited; early registration is encouraged!
