Maryland Business Roundtable for Education (MBRT), in partnership with The Daily Record, proudly presents “The 24: Maryland’s Emerging Scholars,” a prestigious award recognizing the exceptional talents and contributions of Maryland’s high school student leaders.
This award celebrates students who excel not only academically but also as community and school leaders. We seek students who have demonstrated a commitment to making a difference through their involvement in MBRT’s college and career-readiness programs.
Who Should Apply? High school students in grades 9-12 across Maryland who meet the following criteria:
- Academic Achievement: Minimum GPA of 2.5.
- Community Involvement: Demonstrated through service hours.
- School Involvement: Active participation in school activities, displaying leadership qualities and a commitment to helping others.
- MBRT Program Participation: Extra points awarded.
- STEM Interest: Students with a future career interest in STEM are encouraged to apply.
