DESCRIPTION:Youth Congress Day welcomes over 100 students from Maryland Public School Systems to learn about our state’s rich and historic past. Representing their school districts\, students learn about the legislative process through a mock legislative session discussing real legislation and discussion topics before the Maryland General Assembly. Students engage with elected officials\, businesses\, and motivational speakers from across the state as they work together towards common goals on their behalf.
